Fellowship with the ex CF president is worth more than words.

It's embarrassing but Today, only today, one year down the road, of being the auditor, have I finally realized my role as a CF Auditor.

Thank you.
*I ended up lugging the keyboard to the last Livingstone meeting anyway.*

***

Shall I tell you about my day today ? Class ended at 11am, went to the Fresher's tent till about 11.30, qued at student desk till about 12.15, took bus 10 to Fitzwilliam st to JPA office, took 10 to Mater to find dr L, then went to town to get groceries. Ended up breaking my trolley bag's TROLLEY (like watheheck bye bye bag) handle and bought crazy heavy groceries. Yes, I brought my handluggage bag -the one i used for 12 day travels- for grocery shopping. Cus I had had the very noble intention to let Dle get a day's rest and the very noble me decided to get groceries to cater for a 100 people expected bbq. So exactly how heavy is heavy? Uterus prolapsing type heavy. Needing to push a trolley from Marks and spencer down Henry st all the way to the 46a bus stop opposite the spire kind of heavy. Needing to call JH to meet me at the bus stop opposite our house with another trolley from Supervalue cus I couldnt move at all with the 3 bags kinda heavy. Tried to make it back before 1700 but only reached home around 1730.Peeps came over to bake for the BBQ tmr at 1800ish---- all the way to 2300.

Now where do i insert 'study' here again?

For all the tuts that I've crashed, I feel a biiiiiiit guilty lah since it's so obvious that the whole 'we're gonna have a short MCQ prior to the commencement of each tutorial session and it'll be worth 5% of your total marks' aimed to stop people from joining unassigned tutorials ... or just skipping the tuts entirely. And I quote a lecturer ' im not saying u guys are like our guinea pigs or something....'.

Uhuh.

Oh before I forget; mechanisms of cerebral edema :
1. Vasogenic (BBB, intercellular)
2. Cytotoxic (intracellular)

I keep mixing it up with hydrocephalus. Wattth -___-"

Dang , im tired. Dunno why it feels alot like deja vu~

On a happier note;
Happy Birthday Pwei, Mhui, Wkt! =) (3 cheers for the OLDDDD Peoples!)

**BBQ at half 6 tmrw (16th sept) at the Chaplaincy. Join us for the annual Living Stones term breaking activity =) **

ps- And its almost like I have a personal timer on my blog telling me when to update. If ur wondering at the absurdity of my post, it's cause I feel like I have nothing else to talk about, considering my brain is half asleep and my fingers are merely moving on reflex.

Gnight.

Forgive, O Lord, my little jokes on Thee,
And I'll forgive Thy great big one on me.

Okay fine so Termus was a term i invented myself but whatever~

I wanna say thanks to the funny fella who told me Jesus Lover of My Soul has very few chords...

not.

I'm supposed to lead a short worship this Weds for Living Stones but between Eunice ("well in times of desperation I can play but I only know D major hahahah") and myself ("okay lah im a bit better cus I know D and a few more") our choices are really quite limited cus JC hurt his wrist . So after sososoososososoososososo many years of not touching a guitar, I am currently strumming the instrument like a retard. Yup, unless you've got some other name for the sound I'm producing, it is a very sad sight indeed. Dang!! Seriously CANNOT la wei! Obviously back then my fingers hadn't peeled or harden enough for me to play even so-so today. It's times like this that I really admire guitar players worse come to worst I'm gonna bring the miniature keyboard to the meeting =(

In times of desperation

Dublin's weather is finally turning back into the one we all know (but dont love). I can see the not so gradual growth of my food portions and helpings already. =/

***

After 3 months of holiday; class finally resumed today, and we were put through 3 hours of lecture back to back. One can only imagine the situation huh? I think research helped me a bit, the pen didn't feel so awkward in my hands and neither did the shinkanzen lectures. When you're in a conference sponging up almost everything a speaker is talking about because you're worried if that little bit may be the one that helps you answer your examiner's question, you also tend to be scribbling like crazy.

hmm, i believe i should shorten my sentences.

Right. So, talking about new terms;- since coming to Dublin, my internal clock has sort of been resetted (sp), not just regarding the whole GMT+0 thing but also in terms of new years and new terms. My new years now begin in September =)

So since it's the New Year, here are my resolutions:

1. Study smart (okay thts so cliche, the truth is that i need to study. very hard. period. more than anything else lol)
2. Family and friends to be cherished. always.
3. Livingstones and Cornerstones is still a priority.
4. Stick to the exercise regime!
5. Reinstate my posture (I have a theory: the reason why i've not noticed my slouch is because i've been dressing myself in baggy tees and more baggy tees. or not looking into the mirror. or not taking enough pictures... you know, for all those non-vain reasons of course~)
6. Can't think of number 6 right now for the life of me...
7. ♥ - ^o^ elaborations unnecessary.

In retrospect, there are some of last year's resolutions that i've managed to keep and i'm proud of that! For example, now I'm only late about once per 10 times instead of all ten times. Or that my camera has a significant amount of pictures with my face rather than only scenaries and everyone else. =D

That's the really fancy list when in fact I can actually summarize it up into a sentence;

Lve. Be happy. Be strong. No regrets.

Happy New Year everyone!

Ever tried. Ever failed. No matter. Try Again. Fail again. Fail better.
~Samuel Beckett
